00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:05.700
Welcome to the Beard and Mystic podcast, where we are waking and growing in oneness.

00:00:05.700 --> 00:00:08.429
And I'm your host, Rahul Singh.

00:00:08.849 --> 00:00:13.919
I've been a spiritual seeker for over 20 years with a deep interest in non-duality.

00:00:14.369 --> 00:00:15.718
Thank you for joining today.

00:00:16.544 --> 00:00:20.423
Today, uh, we are less than a few weeks away from the U.

00:00:20.423 --> 00:00:20.564
S.

00:00:20.594 --> 00:00:28.303
presidential election, and the choices that we, as American citizens, have are definitely more interesting.

00:00:28.684 --> 00:00:38.064
Back in June, I wasn't excited at all, but now, when there is a clear choice, and I am proud to be voting for the first time for a presidential election.

00:00:38.683 --> 00:00:41.054
So, it's definitely going to be great.

00:00:41.353 --> 00:00:52.573
Before I go into who I am endorsing, which will be at the end of the episode, it would be an excellent way to look at politics and how Advaita Vedanta or non duality fits in.

00:00:52.954 --> 00:00:59.884
So let's see how our spirituality is represented even in politics with those who we vote for and for the issues we support.

00:01:00.154 --> 00:01:05.319
I do firmly believe that our spiritual values are represented in all aspects of life.

00:01:05.539 --> 00:01:07.629
It says a lot about you.

00:01:08.933 --> 00:01:15.233
So, let's have a look into Advaita Vedanta and its philosophical foundations just for a little bit here.

00:01:16.013 --> 00:01:22.463
Regarding non duality, we understand that there is one ultimate reality that we call Brahman.

00:01:23.004 --> 00:01:30.834
We know that even though it appears that there are many jivas or souls, there is only actually one Atma or one Jiva.

00:01:31.084 --> 00:01:35.123
This multiplicity or plurality is just the one Brahman.

00:01:35.447 --> 00:01:47.537
Maya, which is the veil of ignorance for the unenlightened and just a transparent veil for the enlightened shows many for the ignorant and only one for the wise.

00:01:47.617 --> 00:01:57.647
Therefore, politics in the view of non duality is not about helping just the many, but the fact it is the one that is manifested as the many that my vote matters for.

00:01:57.867 --> 00:02:01.787
So my single vote that I do for myself is truly for the self of all.

00:02:02.028 --> 00:02:11.472
So in this view, I see all as the same as myself, and this gives me a broader vision and one that will not allow my intellect to shrink into narrow mindedness.

00:02:11.546 --> 00:02:25.028
The Formless Awareness that is within all of us is changeless, imageless, boundless and therefore it is beyond the constraints of political games yet it is aware of the field that politics is played upon.

00:02:25.449 --> 00:02:35.438
Therefore the Realized Being views every living being as having the same Consciousness and this strengthens the intellect which means our discernment is strong.

00:02:35.984 --> 00:02:43.693
This power of the intellect is vital during an election and one that must be used when it comes to the political discourse.

00:02:44.133 --> 00:02:55.713
Today misinformation spreads faster, facts are doubted and conspiracy theories are a reality in minds which think they are questioning things but are only creating their own narrative.

00:02:56.084 --> 00:03:00.403
A strong intellect can discern between the truth and what is false.

00:03:00.454 --> 00:03:01.743
What is reality?

00:03:01.989 --> 00:03:03.338
And what is fiction?

00:03:04.098 --> 00:03:13.229
One of the key aspects of self realisation is that the individual understands this material existence as temporary and transient.

00:03:13.558 --> 00:03:38.179
With a strong intellect, they're able to see the root of all ideas and see it as an observer, rather than being personally invested in someone else's narrative, I'm confident that someone with a strong intellect will not be led down the rabbit hole of misinformation and conspiratorial thinking, nor would they fall for someone who spews so much misinformation that reality is then blurred.

00:03:38.503 --> 00:03:48.894
As shown through the history of the Mahabharata and Ramayana, the truth is always victorious, and the truth itself is like a diamond with many sides to it.

00:03:49.213 --> 00:04:00.843
It is up to us to have a mind that is free from bias and looks out for the greater good, just as Sri Krishna and Sri Ram showed us with how they dealt with their kingdoms.

00:04:01.110 --> 00:04:08.501
We are to use the lessons of our scriptures and assess whether our leaders have those qualities, or at least some of them.

00:04:09.431 --> 00:04:11.800
Does the candidate that I support value truth?

00:04:11.971 --> 00:04:13.360
Do they value humanity?

00:04:13.480 --> 00:04:15.520
Do they believe in equal opportunity?

00:04:15.631 --> 00:04:17.800
Are they looking to bring people together?

00:04:18.081 --> 00:04:20.110
Do they have strong integrity?

00:04:20.471 --> 00:04:23.461
Is love and compassion at the heart of who they are?

00:04:23.891 --> 00:04:33.060
It is not only about one line as said at a rally, but also in the conduct and policies that they are putting forward to us as a general public.

00:04:33.540 --> 00:04:44.185
With the practice of Advaita Vedanta, which fundamentally believes in the oneness of all, the way I view policies and political leaders will be with that same vision.

00:04:44.225 --> 00:04:51.175
Knowing that they are all made with the same essence, even the other candidates I will not be voting for or supporting at all.

00:04:51.466 --> 00:05:02.036
I should not harbour any hatred for that person, but understand that it is their behaviour, conduct, policies, and ideas that are being questioned through my intellect.

00:05:02.502 --> 00:05:13.838
So that leads us to what is the ethical and philosophical foundations for governance because ethics is essential in politics and this is not something based on morality.

00:05:14.149 --> 00:05:16.629
Ethics are about who you are as a person.

00:05:16.889 --> 00:05:18.769
They actually represent you.

00:05:19.418 --> 00:05:31.473
We see in ancient thought that we have the five yamas that ask practitioners to take the path of least harm, to not lie, to not steal, to not waste energy, and to avoid possessiveness.

00:05:31.613 --> 00:05:35.303
Now, let's look into this a little deeper in the context of this election.

00:05:36.163 --> 00:05:45.074
So, political ideas and leaders must try to avoid causing harm at all costs, although this is inevitable that some harm will be done.

00:05:45.334 --> 00:05:50.584
Therefore, the path of least harm or ahimsa is an important quality for someone to have.

00:05:50.944 --> 00:06:03.093
Even in the Mahabharata and Ramayana, we know that the antagonists or the evil forces were given many chances to solve the conflicts and avoid violence, which would always be considered as the last resort.

00:06:03.363 --> 00:06:14.684
In today's time, there is no need for anyone to incite political violence of any kind, whether that is trying to stop certifying the election results or even an assassination attempt.

00:06:14.978 --> 00:06:22.309
For a healthy democracy, we need candidates who do not resolve to attack the opposition with lies because this breeds deceit.

00:06:22.619 --> 00:06:36.454
So the candidate cannot claim the election was stolen, or worse, claim that the opposition cheated when it was their administration that was in charge or attacked capital to stop the certification of the election results.

00:06:36.814 --> 00:06:45.303
We may move past these issues quickly because of the news cycle, but we should remember the lessons here because they should never happen again.

00:06:45.713 --> 00:06:48.514
This was an apparent lack of ethics clearly here.

00:06:48.723 --> 00:06:59.562
And since one candidate and their VP did not accept the loss in 2020, this is violence and lying, which in fact, In my opinion, it is a lack of ethics.

00:06:59.562 --> 00:07:04.512
One should not lie, even if it is a half truth, one should avoid doing this.

00:07:04.911 --> 00:07:18.557
As I mentioned earlier, misinformation causes so much harm, we have seen people put their lives at risk and share such things also on social media, or more recently, maintaining the lie that immigrants are eating people's cats and dogs.

00:07:18.617 --> 00:07:28.007
Honestly, this alone should make you question why you are voting for such a person or even giving them a platform on your podcast or YouTube channel.

00:07:28.576 --> 00:07:34.507
Non stealing is a more nuanced ethic point but bear with me on this point as we see its broader impact.

00:07:34.757 --> 00:07:41.843
When it comes to lower and middle class people, they should not be paying more percentage of tax than corporations or the top three percent.

00:07:42.192 --> 00:07:47.692
So if a policy will help the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, that, in my opinion, is stealing.

00:07:47.988 --> 00:07:57.238
When it comes to, uh, wasting energy, this is unethical and the government has been accused of wasting a lot of energy regarding how efficiently it runs.

00:07:57.629 --> 00:08:01.788
Some may claim to drain the swamp but end up making the swamp worse.

00:08:02.209 --> 00:08:10.764
People may think about defunding a particular department, like education but this takes the very soul out of those departments.

00:08:11.173 --> 00:08:21.713
Also, many people are employed through the federal government, and if any candidate thinks they are a jobs president, they don't want a reduction in the workforce that they are leading.

00:08:22.014 --> 00:08:30.334
Or something similar we have been talking about is wasting the energy of supporters with a lie that the election was stolen or that immigrants are taking our jobs.

00:08:30.593 --> 00:08:37.644
Recently, there've been lies that immigrants are taking Black and Hispanic employment and evidence shows that this is not the case.

00:08:37.953 --> 00:08:45.323
Also, it doesn't matter what executive orders can do, whereas the Senate and the House fundamentally make legislation.

00:08:45.533 --> 00:08:54.443
So if something isn't put into law, it's not the fault of the administration, but we need to hold our house of representatives and our senators accountable.

00:08:54.855 --> 00:08:59.346
Now possessiveness is such an interesting one when it comes to American democracy.

00:08:59.905 --> 00:09:06.686
One of the great things is the transition of power and how someone cannot be President for more than two terms.

00:09:07.105 --> 00:09:10.275
The checks and balances stop a dictatorship from happening.

00:09:10.645 --> 00:09:13.796
Nobody should feel that their power is theirs forever.

00:09:14.056 --> 00:09:24.956
Anyone trying to cling to power or even running as President again to avoid facing criminal charges, you know that this person lacks ethics completely.

00:09:26.191 --> 00:09:34.961
So, those were the five yamas that we should measure every elected official with and anyone seeking our votes.

00:09:35.370 --> 00:09:44.150
We understand how important it is for any candidate running in any election, whether that's state, local or federal, that we need to see.

00:09:44.311 --> 00:09:47.811
that they have strong ethics but also a strong sense of dharma.

00:09:47.900 --> 00:09:49.701
They must represent righteousness.

00:09:50.020 --> 00:09:53.571
They must know and represent that immigrants are humans.

00:09:53.801 --> 00:09:58.921
Ensure that those with less economic advantages are given help to progress with their wealth.

00:09:59.541 --> 00:10:09.285
They will put every effort in to advert the climate crisis, respect democracy with its traditions and that women have autonomy over their bodies.

00:10:09.505 --> 00:10:17.196
Therefore my vote is not just for me but it's for my son, for my nieces and nephews and every single person in my life.

00:10:18.035 --> 00:10:32.211
The whole point of having a non dual realization or even having a spiritual life with compassion and understanding is to ensure we think of the nations and the world's best interest and the collective well being.

00:10:32.461 --> 00:10:42.110
Suppose we remember how Sri Krishna guided Arjuna to think of the greater good and that fighting the Kauravas was necessary because of the people that lived in the kingdom.

00:10:42.441 --> 00:10:45.921
So we need to see politicians being just as selfless.

00:10:45.971 --> 00:10:51.380
If their rallies are all about themselves and their problems, then you know they don't care about you or your needs.

00:10:51.500 --> 00:10:58.441
If a candidate talks about how they're going to make your life better, then supporting them is the best thing we can do.

00:11:00.181 --> 00:11:25.880
Fundamentally, Advaita Vedanta philosophically proposes policies that look to benefit the majority, like tax cuts for the middle and lower class, raising the minimum wage, giving women the right to control their bodies, immigration reform where humanity is at the base of it, stricter gun control, strive for better healthcare system, along with more affordable prescriptions and so on.

00:11:26.811 --> 00:11:32.410
This leads us to to look into leadership qualities, which are very, very important here.

00:11:32.755 --> 00:11:37.475
You know, power can be extremely intoxicating.

00:11:37.495 --> 00:11:46.635
And we have seen that whenever someone gets some title or position in life in general, it inflates their ego and they begin to lack a certain sense of humility.

00:11:46.975 --> 00:11:52.385
They may claim to be for everyone, but really they don't really care about us ordinary folk.

00:11:52.395 --> 00:11:54.510
You know, they want to do what they want to do.

00:11:55.221 --> 00:12:10.541
Therefore, since Advaita sees everyone as one, non duality is likely to foster servant leadership qualities where the leaders are humble, they listen attentively to others, empathise with the public, and they put others above their own needs.

00:12:11.301 --> 00:12:15.910
In Hinduism, we have Sri Rama and Sri Krishna who were very righteous leaders.

00:12:16.280 --> 00:12:23.791
So as a Vedantin, I'm looking at their qualities and seeing which of today's candidates is close to that ideal leadership.

00:12:24.250 --> 00:12:28.860
Nobody can come close to them, but the qualities are universal.

00:12:29.390 --> 00:12:32.821
Or we can even look at Raja Janak, an enlightened king.

00:12:33.110 --> 00:12:38.480
We know from the stories how caring he was for his kingdom and how he valued his people.

00:12:38.860 --> 00:12:40.480
Each and every person.

00:12:41.120 --> 00:12:44.770
For me, compassion plays a massive part in leadership.

00:12:45.130 --> 00:12:52.630
Suppose someone is sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, or ridicules people with disabilities.

00:12:52.941 --> 00:13:02.030
I don't think that person is fit for not just this nation's highest office, but they should be nowhere near any political office.

00:13:03.291 --> 00:13:15.571
The leader needs to be able to look forward, to have a vision that inspires us, and not someone who lacks, who looks back to the past as if we lived in more extraordinary times.

00:13:15.571 --> 00:13:23.071
For example, anyone who believes in this silly slogan, like "Make America Great Again", does not believe America is great right now.

00:13:23.311 --> 00:13:25.681
And I don't think that's very patriotic either.

00:13:25.931 --> 00:13:31.916
For me, America was, is and will always be great and its greatness lies in its people.

00:13:32.235 --> 00:13:36.025
An important issue for me is abortion rights.

00:13:36.926 --> 00:13:39.936
Now, some Hindus are against abortion and I get it.

00:13:40.086 --> 00:13:44.966
It's because in one of the Upanishads, it is said that the Jiva enters the womb before birth.

00:13:45.706 --> 00:13:48.186
However, we need to look at this holistically.

00:13:48.775 --> 00:13:56.196
First of all, this is a matter of human rights, so a woman should have full rights to choose whether she wants the baby or not.

00:13:56.446 --> 00:14:03.716
Her religion definitely can influence her and guide her, but the law does not need to make that decision for her.

00:14:04.245 --> 00:14:13.410
We also need to look at the simple issue, that if a baby is born and that child grows up in poverty and suffering, then we must look at Ahimsa here.

00:14:13.711 --> 00:14:17.500
We must remember our dharma is to take the path of least suffering.

00:14:17.910 --> 00:14:23.760
If the intention is clear, then the mother's health is in jeopardy or the child will not survive.

00:14:23.980 --> 00:14:28.691
Abortion will be seen as the best action to take as it will cause the least amount of suffering.

00:14:29.091 --> 00:14:49.273
Or if we are going to make women keep babies of their rapists or due to incest, then those men should have vasectomies or castration by law or should the father of the child help with raising the child at least monetarily and if they cannot for whatever reason then the state should provide that monetary value.

00:14:49.613 --> 00:14:52.472
You may disagree with me here but this is my take.

00:14:52.663 --> 00:14:57.832
At the very least we need leaders who will put women's health and autonomy back into the hands of women.

00:14:58.182 --> 00:15:03.373
We don't need old men in the courts or government telling women what to do.

00:15:03.373 --> 00:15:09.352
Another issue that I see so much misinformation on is how schools are making kids take gender affirming surgeries.

00:15:09.692 --> 00:15:12.653
A new study by researchers at Harvard, a T.H.

00:15:12.653 --> 00:15:21.548
Chan School of Public Health, found little to no utilization of gender affirming surgeries by transgender and gender diverse minors in schools in the US.

00:15:21.868 --> 00:15:32.018
Now if someone is disturbed that schools are trying to make kids feel comfortable to express themselves, then this says a lot about your own biases than the school system or government being wrong.

00:15:32.538 --> 00:15:36.477
No school is dictating to any child what their pronouns are.

00:15:36.842 --> 00:15:40.383
Or what their sexual orientation is, or what gender they feel they are.

00:15:40.653 --> 00:15:42.903
That child is just expressing what they feel.

00:15:43.113 --> 00:15:47.993
Or that child will not say anything out of fear because their parents have backward views.

00:15:48.413 --> 00:15:52.482
That fear will only cause mental trauma that could be avoided.

00:15:52.857 --> 00:16:07.697
Again, in Hinduism, there is openness for any gender, and gender fluidity is not some recent phenomena, it's even discussed in Hindu texts like the Kama Sutra, so the misinformation here has to stop, and we need to be more accepting and understanding.

00:16:08.477 --> 00:16:16.648
Fundamentally, we need our leaders to have a stable mind, someone who is committed and honest, and has a character full of compassion and integrity.

00:16:17.467 --> 00:16:26.597
As it said in the Bhagavad Gita, when meditation is mastered, the mind is unwavering like the flame of a lamp in a windless place.

00:16:26.847 --> 00:16:31.798
We need such resoluteness in a world that is divided and flamed with hatred.

00:16:33.087 --> 00:16:41.128
So, now we come to and leads me to who I am endorsing as the next President of the United States.

00:16:42.138 --> 00:16:52.557
It will not be difficult to guess from my preamble there that I will be fully supporting Vice President Kamala Harris to be our next President of the United States.

00:16:52.557 --> 00:16:56.238
And with her, I will be voting Democrat down the ballot.

00:16:56.577 --> 00:16:57.847
The choice is clear for me.

00:16:58.618 --> 00:17:10.577
She has a detailed plan to deal with the economy, maintain our democracy, address the climate crisis, improve health care, bring forward immigration reform, give women their right to choose, and so on.

00:17:11.458 --> 00:17:17.384
There's an 80 page document on her website, and I'm going to put that document in the video description and show notes below.

00:17:18.874 --> 00:17:24.294
Some will say, she's been in the administration for the last 4 years, so why hasn't she done anything?

00:17:24.894 --> 00:17:26.384
She's the vice president.

00:17:26.663 --> 00:17:29.644
So it's president Biden that is calling the shots.

00:17:29.673 --> 00:17:32.144
And in my opinion, he's done a great job.

00:17:32.564 --> 00:17:39.473
When you compare how we are doing in the economy compared to other countries, you understand he's done a pretty decent job.

00:17:39.953 --> 00:17:47.713
Now, when President Biden needs something done by the Vice President, He will ask her like he did with the border.

00:17:47.773 --> 00:17:50.403
Now her vision for the border was forward thinking.

00:17:50.864 --> 00:17:55.429
Instead of closing the border which would simply be putting a band aid on the situation.

00:17:55.749 --> 00:18:03.909
She looked at investing in the economies in Central and South American nations so that migrants could settle there instead of moving towards the USA.

00:18:04.528 --> 00:18:09.709
The return on this investment must be seen in the long term and this is a real solution.

00:18:09.999 --> 00:18:18.439
It shows how she addresses the issue with a whole vision and plan instead of making a political stunt through executive orders alone.

00:18:19.778 --> 00:18:22.989
Or building a wall that people can still climb over.

00:18:23.769 --> 00:18:26.888
I also love Tim Waltz, who is her running mate.

00:18:27.308 --> 00:18:29.648
He's an excellent choice for vice president.

00:18:29.739 --> 00:18:31.838
He's relatable, speaks his mind.

00:18:32.249 --> 00:18:35.128
We have seen the great work he has done in Minnesota as well.

00:18:35.489 --> 00:18:43.588
Most of all, I feel confident that in 2029 when it comes to certifying the 2028 election, he will uphold democracy.

00:18:43.739 --> 00:18:56.413
Since JD Vance cannot answer this question about accepting any election result, I believe that if you truly love America and its democracy, then that alone should be enough to not vote for Donald and JD Vance's ticket.

00:18:57.023 --> 00:19:09.614
Before we end the episode, I want to address another critical issue which is young men and why our vote is crucial and that voting is the most masculine thing to do right now.

00:19:10.834 --> 00:19:24.493
Now voting for the Harris-Waltz ticket is the most masculine thing to do I have seen how some young men seem to think that Trump represents a strong man and exudes masculinity.

00:19:24.493 --> 00:19:28.273
And let me discuss this for a moment because I actually disagree with that.

00:19:28.354 --> 00:19:30.318
He's old school masculinity.

00:19:30.358 --> 00:19:32.648
There's a much more compassionate masculinity.

00:19:33.429 --> 00:19:38.148
You know, men have always been shown to be stoic and have emotional restraint.

00:19:38.558 --> 00:19:42.689
Yet, we have seen countless times how Trump lacks emotional intelligence.

00:19:43.058 --> 00:19:49.273
If I had a problem, he He would ignore my problem and talk about his own problems, and he would call the answer a weave.

00:19:49.743 --> 00:19:55.403
Plus, he hardly laughs, he calls people's names, and has to push people to show pseudo strength.

00:19:55.773 --> 00:19:58.554
This aggressive behavior is not masculine at all.

00:19:58.763 --> 00:19:59.874
It's straight up bullying.

00:20:00.153 --> 00:20:03.818
Being masculine is about respecting others and showing empathy.

00:20:04.929 --> 00:20:13.398
Being masculine also means acknowledging our own vulnerabilities and seeking help and we know that Trump can never admit that he has made mistakes.

00:20:13.669 --> 00:20:19.989
He constantly sees others as wrong and would fire people if they disagreed with him on any issue.

00:20:20.118 --> 00:20:24.318
Or worse, talking about his crowd sizes is easy to get under his skin.

00:20:24.949 --> 00:20:33.209
Masculinity is the ability to be vulnerable, shed a tear, have a laugh, that clearly shows intelligence.

00:20:34.288 --> 00:20:40.249
Being masculine is also about having leadership that unifies and builds consensus.

00:20:40.568 --> 00:20:48.298
We know that Trump's rhetoric has only been seen to exacerbate societal divisions and create an us versus them mentality.

00:20:48.628 --> 00:20:54.209
But we know masculinity is about valuing community, cooperation and bridging our differences.

00:20:54.558 --> 00:20:56.259
Which is why I make this point now.

00:20:56.548 --> 00:20:59.979
Some of you who I see as my friends or my family will vote for Trump.

00:21:00.219 --> 00:21:04.969
And that is perfectly fine because voting for what you support is important.

00:21:05.388 --> 00:21:10.209
But remember, Trump did say to vote on January 5th, so remember that please.

00:21:11.108 --> 00:21:19.169
An important one here is how masculinity is about being honourable, having integrity, and ethical behaviour.

00:21:19.749 --> 00:21:22.679
Trump has allegations of unethical behaviour.

00:21:22.848 --> 00:21:24.328
He is a convicted felon.

00:21:24.719 --> 00:21:26.638
He has been bankrupt four times.

00:21:26.818 --> 00:21:28.618
He has had conflicts of interest.

00:21:28.739 --> 00:21:37.439
He's even had his family work in the White House, and he just genuinely ignores established norms and protocols, like accepting that he lost the 2020 election.

00:21:37.759 --> 00:21:45.108
You can say what you want about Biden's policies or Obama's policies, but they represent integrity and strong ethics.

00:21:45.439 --> 00:21:52.546
Mind you, another point is that apart from Trump's tax cuts, he didn't change any of Obama's economic policies.

00:21:52.605 --> 00:21:57.726
So that economy that you enjoyed during Trump's era, is all thanks to President Obama.

00:21:57.942 --> 00:22:18.821
Also, thanks to President Biden right now, due to the American Rescue Plan, the Inflation Reduction Act, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, and the Chips and Science Act, All this has increased investment in the country and increased domestic manufacturing, which Trump promised to do, but did not do when he was in power, but Biden has.

00:22:19.922 --> 00:22:34.481
There's so much more that can be said about Trump, like his infidelity in marriage, his shipping off Covid test kits for Putin's personal use, when the US public needed those covid test kits, because there was a shortage of them at the time.

00:22:35.281 --> 00:22:43.481
This is a man who shows the most toxic forms of masculinity, like dominance, aggression, suppression of emotions.

00:22:43.932 --> 00:22:47.731
Just look at how he treats women, especially women of color.

00:22:47.922 --> 00:22:55.251
Just watch those videos and then watch Kamala Harris, how she speaks to white people and note the stark differences.

00:22:55.662 --> 00:22:59.082
How there's equality in her voice in in her approach.

00:22:59.501 --> 00:23:03.201
Voting for Vice President Harris is a positive masculine choice.

00:23:03.491 --> 00:23:15.102
Kamala Harris embodies many positive aspects of modern masculinity, such as emotional intelligence, empathy, collaboration, integrity, and advocacy for equality.

00:23:15.402 --> 00:23:26.402
Her leadership style promotes inclusivity and ethical governance, reflecting a broader and more compassionate definition of masculinity, which is what we absolutely need today.

00:23:26.662 --> 00:23:32.382
And just remember, she's unifying because she's gonna appoint a Republican to her cabinet.

00:23:33.112 --> 00:23:36.731
Young men should look at Tim Walz, who is a great inspiration.

00:23:37.142 --> 00:23:42.811
We need more male teachers, and can we please give a massive pay raise to our teachers?

00:23:42.912 --> 00:23:46.922
They are making tomorrow's leaders, so let's pay them appropriately for this.

00:23:47.791 --> 00:24:03.801
Tim Waltz, he's a doting father, he's light hearted and humorous, he cares about his neighbours, he displays kindness and he's just relatable, especially with his understanding of fertility treatments and trust me he won't take your guns away since he owns one himself.

00:24:04.442 --> 00:24:26.102
So let's end the episode here and conclude in all, Advaita Vedanta seeks to enrich political thought and practice by embedding deep ethical values, promoting compassionate and inclusive leadership, and advocating for policies that reflect the interconnectedness of all life.

00:24:26.551 --> 00:24:39.102
Its influence encourages a shift towards effective, honest governance and spiritually aligned with the principles of unity and selflessness, fostering a more harmonious and equitable society.

00:24:39.281 --> 00:24:40.761
And this is what we need today.

00:24:41.051 --> 00:24:43.961
And we just need a new generation of leaders.

00:24:44.451 --> 00:24:49.511
Whether you agree or disagree with me, I am more than happy to discuss this in the comments section.

00:24:49.551 --> 00:24:52.132
And you may unfollow me from this and I'm okay with that.

00:24:52.682 --> 00:24:55.461
But one thing, please go out and vote.

00:24:56.096 --> 00:24:58.497
Since early voting is open in most states.

00:24:58.807 --> 00:25:06.287
Let's vote and make Kamala Harris, our next president of the United States of America, and vote for Democrats down your ballot.

00:25:07.207 --> 00:25:12.817
Plus I will be live on election day as the results trickle in right here on this channel.

00:25:13.156 --> 00:25:19.317
So I shall see you on November 5th, you know, all the best to the candidates.

00:25:19.396 --> 00:25:22.817
I wish for non violence on all aspects.

00:25:23.457 --> 00:25:26.086
So, go out and vote.

00:25:26.527 --> 00:25:28.057
Take care, namaste.
